Hayward Fowler had a humble beginning in the television industry, originally hired as a station manager for Tifton's Channel 5. With some courage, and initiative, he aired a call in talk show named "Tifton Talks" and the popularity of the show and the station skyrocketed.  He quickly realized he had a winning idea when the advertisers started calling to run commercials on the show.

Realizing he could expand creatively if he had his own network, Hayward launched The Fun Channel© in the late 80's and hasn't looked back.  Hayward had a vision for a local television network that could provide South Georgia with an outlet for sharing their world.  That vision is now a reality.

Always an innovator, Hayward was producing and presenting programs that highlighted local businesses, long before "infomercials" gained popularity across the country.

Today the Fun Channel is available on Mediacom© cable, reaching over 500,000 viewers in South and Central Georgia.  We change our programming three times a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We now repeat our daily programming every three and a half hours, twenty-four hours a day. 

With the addition of our live web streaming video on this site, viewers from around the world can tune in and enjoy local programming.
